Cathy Humphrey

Episode Three of ‘From A to Me’ profiles Sacred Heart CEO Cathy Humphrey and emphasises the role sponsorship from other women played in her career development.

Having worked in the disability, community housing and homelessness sector for over 23 years, Cathy took on the CEO role in 2011. She currently sits as director on the board of Council to Homeless Persons – the peak body for not-for-profit organisations who work with Victorians experiencing homelessness.

Cathy acknowledges her sector is predominantly run by women, female leaders are still lacking. Through her work Cathy aims to change this and highlights the need to be deliberate about encouraging women through their career pathway.
